A lot of exciting changes are happening in the Idaho Medicaid program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Medicaid has started “My Choice Matters,” which is Medicaid’s promise to listen to what you have to say. Medicaid wants to hear from you about the changes happening in the program. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare also want to hear from you about how the program is, or is not, working for you.
One way that Medicaid wants to hear from you is through a new website it created. Medicaid created a website for adults with I/DD so that you can find out what is new in the program and let them know what you think. You can also find out about supports and services and learn about your rights. The website also has information about the KW Lawsuit and a new group that is working together to make Medicaid better, called Community NOW!
You can see the website by going to www.mychoicematters.idaho.gov.
Please check the website as much as you can. Medicaid will add information to the website on a regular basis.
Your voice matters to Idaho Medicaid! And your choice matters too!
