The AFI TEACCH program is an exciting opportunity for the children we serve. TEACCH is an evidence based intervention for children emphasizing individualized instruction while using structured teaching and visual schedules. Using a child's inherent strengths and interests, the AFI TEACCH Program focuses on skill development in communication, self-help skills, motor skills, cognitive skills, play skills, and socialization skills. TEACCH uses structured teaching and visual schedules to foster skill acquisition and flexibility in routines. The AFI TEACCH Program is offered in the Nampa Center location. TEACCH is available for children between the ages of 3 and 18.
