This service is designed to focus on skills that will increase your child’s communication, social, and play skills, as well as other independence skills. Behavioral Intervention is provided by individuals who have at a minimum a college degree, as well as meet the State of Idaho’s educational and experience requirements. Behavioral Interventionists use well known and highly regarded evidence based treatment such as Positive Behavioral Supports, Applied Behavioral Analysis, TEACCH, and other evidence based practices. Behavioral Intervention is used to:
• Diminish maladaptive behaviors;
• Develop life skills;
• Teach positive behaviors;
• Increase communication skills;
• And encourage and facilitate positive social interactions.
