Please join Autism Society Treasure Valley (ASTV) for their 2nd Annual Summer Family BBQ and potluck! Meet fellow members of the autism community in the Treasure Valley.
This family-friendly park has ample parking, large shade trees, and is right by the Boise River Greenbelt. The picnic area is next to the playground and a short distance from restrooms. Adjoining the park is the Morrison Knudson Nature Center, a free open-air education center with underwater fish displays, native plants and wildlife habitat improvements.
Bring a dish to share with a serving spoon/utensil, and ASTV will provide hamburgers/hotdogs and a drink. If your dish-to-share should be kept cool, bring a larger container to set it in, and ASTV will provide some ice.
- Kids First Cast will be at the event from 3:00pm-5:00pm to teach and assist kids wanting to learn to fish.
- Bounce houses for the kids.
- Tye dye station - bring something white (t-shirt, socks, handkerchief) you'd like to tie dye.
Per Park rules, NO DOGS, NO ALCOHOL
