Practice Air Travel for Those with Disabilities
Alaska Airlines, Autism Society Treasure Valley, Boise Airport, Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Center, and the Transportation Security Administration are partnering to offer an air travel experience for people with disabilities.
This event provides individuals with disabilities a chance to experience a “practice flight,” and become more familiar with air travel. Participants will go through check-in, security screening, boarding a Horizon airplane, safety briefing, taxiing, disembarking procedures, and claiming baggage.
Who Can Participate?
Space is limited! This free event is designed for children and adults with disabilities who would benefit from a practice flying experience. Please return completed applications by June 1st, 2015 to the Autism Society Treasure Valley at autism.asatvc@yahoo.com or PO Box 44831, Boise, ID, 83711. Applications will be reviewed, and spots filled based on immediate need.
