Special Needs Livestock Show

  • Malheur County Fairgrounds 795 Northwest 9th Street Ontario, OR, 97914 United States (map)

Malheur County 4-H is offering a unique opportunity for Special Needs children ages 9-19 to participate in a Livestock show designed especially for them.  Participants will learn about different farm animals including pigs, sheep and goats and will be assigned a volunteer who will work hand in hand with each child and family. Each child will work with the animals and the volunteer will teach the child how to show the animal in the show ring. We understand that each child has different learning and physical abilities and we will work closely with each child to make this a great experience. This is a community event designed to expose your child to livestock programs and clubs in Malheur County and to "Celebrate the Possibilities” available to your child. Free to special needs children but must be pre-registered because of limited enrollment of 21 participants. To register your child or if you have questions please contact:
