Is your child with disabilities
a target of bullying?
Parents can help their children with disabilities who are the targets of bullying by developing effective strategies for responding to bullying behavior.
This workshop is designed to introduce parents and professionals to a range of intervention strategies for the child who is the target of bullying that can be used by the parent, the parent and child, and the family and school. It is intended as a general guideline, across all disabilities and age groups, for the development of a plan to address the unique needs of the individual child.
Different types of bullying will be discussed, including the new "bathroom wall" Cyberbullying.
This workshop is presented by Idaho Parents Unlimited (IPUL) and will be hosted at Advocates for Inclusion. Please register by contacting Kathie: 342-5884 Ext. 103 or Kathie@ipulidaho.org
